Agricultural Landscapes in Spain, a Great Diversity

The aim of a Unit of Work must be the acquisition of values through the learning
and comprehension of a certain topic. The topic “Agricultural Landscapes” is a good
example of cohesion between the geographic learning and the development of certain
values toward the environment. It is a motivating topic within Social Science. The
methodology followed in this Unit of Work fosters participation and visual input. It is
also essential the attention to diversity which must be taken into account from the very
beginning, even before the outline of the Unit of Work.

Una Unidad Didáctica ha de tener como objetivo la adquisición de valores mediante el aprendizaje y comprensión del tema desarrollado. El tema de los Paisajes Agrarios, es un gran ejemplo de cohesión entre aprendizaje geográfico y desarrollo de valores hacia el medio que nos rodea. Éste resulta un tema muy motivador para el estudio de las Ciencias Sociales. La metodología empleada en esta Unidad promueve la participación y los materiales visuales. Por otro lado, es imprescindible la atención a la diversidad, la cual ha de ser considerada desde el primer momento, antes de plantear la Unidad Didáctica.
