AIRES is a biannual journal and publishes two issues each year in May and November. Each issue includes three categories:

Invited articles

Prominent researchers and prestigious professionals are invited to publish on a topic of interest related to secondary education. The Editorial Board proposes these invited articles.

Reviewed articles

  • Novel authors / Training and Outreach: These articles come from outstanding Master Theses presented by students of various specialties of the Teacher Training Master at the University of Granada. These articles are subject to a double review process. First each Master Theses evaluation committee, consisting of three experts in the area of knowledge, proposes (if there are any) works of exceptional quality that may be of interest for publication in the journal. Then, they are reviewed by the supervisor of the Theses and written in article format, and finally they are reviewed and selected by the Editorial Board.
  • Other Authors / Communications Open: Each issue also contains articles written by researchers, professionals, students or anyone related to the field of education, which undergo a blind review process and selection by peers. The journal is permanently open for submissions, and sometimes specific calls to special numbers will be made. The review process will be conducted by at least two experts in the area external to the publishing institution of the journal. The reports of these experts will be evaluated by the Editorial Committee that, based on these reports, will accept or reject the article for publication in the journal.

Call For Papers

In special ocassions there will be calls for papers on specific topics to be published in special numbers of the journal. These call for papers will be announced here.
